5-Axis Mount

The five separate adjustment axes make fine-tuning a setup far less fiddly than I expected, and once I got the tip and tilt dialed in, it locked solidly. Took a few minutes to understand how the knobs interact, but the precision payoff is worth it.

Didn't realize how much I needed tip and tilt until I swapped this in — dialing in the angle took my alignment from finicky to basically automatic. The knobs have a nice firm feel with no slop, and once I locked it down nothing drifted over a full day of use.

The X, Y, Z adjustments actually hold their position once you tighten everything down, which I wasn't expecting at this price. Dialing in the mount on my optical bench took maybe ten minutes, and it hasn't drifted since.
