6 inch Attenuations Filter

Took me a bit to figure out the exact placement, but once it was between the laser and the part the fringe contrast cleaned up nicely. Works exactly as described for those tricky shiny surfaces.

The fringe contrast on my reflective samples is noticeably cleaner now—no more washed-out fringes muddying the measurements. Sliding it in between the components took seconds, and it’s doing exactly what I hoped it would.

Dropped this between my light source and the reflective part and the fringe contrast cleaned up right away. Six inches covers my setup fine, and the attenuation is even across the whole aperture.
