The 0.28 numerical aperture gives noticeably crisper fringes than my older lower-NA objective, and the long working distance makes aligning samples a breeze. It's the first turret-mounted Michelson I've used that doesn't need re-collimation after swapping.

Turret mounting is effortless, and the long working distance makes it far less fiddly to align than my old short-throw objective. Interferometry fringes came up crisp and clean right out of the box at 10X with the 0.28NA.
