The F/0.65 speed on this sphere really cuts down my testing time—I was able to resolve fringes much faster than with my slower reference. The 1/10 wave PV figure is right on the money for my interferometer setup.

Been chasing wavefront error for weeks and this 1/10 wave PV rating finally got my interferometer readings to line up. The F/0.65 aperture is fast enough for my setup, though you'll want a solid mount because it's a hefty piece of glass. Fits the part number spec exactly and the coating looks clean

Swapped out my old F/0.65 sphere for this one and the fringe contrast jumped immediately. The 4-inch aperture fits my existing mount without any adapter fuss. Surface figure held up clean through a full day of interferometry runs.
