The f/1.5 aperture is exactly what I needed for testing fast optics, and the 1/10 wave accuracy shows up in clean, repeatable fringes right out of the box. Mounting it on my bench took less than ten minutes, and the glass is flawless edge to edge.

I tested this sphere on a Zygo interferometer and the surface accuracy is exactly as specified. The F1.5 aperture covers my 4-inch beam nicely without any edge distortion I could detect.

The fringe contrast on this 1/10 wave sphere is noticeably cleaner than the 1/4 wave one I'd been making do with. Setup took a bit of tweaking to get aligned, but once it locked in the null was dead flat across the whole aperture. Worth it if you're chasing real precision.
