We needed a clean reference for our interferometer setup, and this sphere’s 1/20 wave accuracy immediately reduced fringing artifacts we’d been chasing for months. The 6" aperture is exactly what we needed for large optics, and for the price, it’s a solid upgrade from the generic ones we’d tried.

Swapped this in for our old F/3.5 sphere and the fringe quality on our 6-inch flats was noticeably cleaner right away. The 1/20 wave surface really shows in how little retrace error we're chasing during alignment now. Setup took a bit of care but that's the nature of the accessory.
