The dynaflect coating on this flat is noticeably more durable than standard mirrors I've used in the past. After a few setups, the surface still shows zero visible scratches, which is a huge relief for a precision optic. The 1/20 wave accuracy delivered the cleanest interference patterns I've seen f

I've been putting this flat through its paces in the lab, and the Dynaflect coating holds up impressively well to repeated handling. The 1/20 wave spec is spot on—interferometry readings came out clean and consistent every time.

The 1/20 wave surface on this flat is noticeably better than the 1/10 wave I'd been using for interferometry work. Fringes stay clean and evenly spaced across the full 4" aperture, which makes alignment way less fiddly.
