I needed a reliable reference flat for aligning a 633 nm interferometer, and the 4% reflectivity on this one works perfectly for that setup. The 1/20 wave surface is clean and consistent, no annoying fringes to compensate for.

I checked the 1/20 wave figure on our interferometer and it held up nicely at 633 nm. The 4% reflectivity is perfect for our setup since we get clean fringes without ghost reflections. Took a few days to arrive but the optic itself is flawless.

It’s holding up well as a reference flat in our interferometry setup—the 1/20 wave spec is clearly doing its job, and the 4% reflectivity is spot-on for our application. The only minor gripe is the packaging could’ve been sturdier for shipping, but the optic arrived unscathed.
