6吋 F/7.2 透射球 - 1/20 波長 (6024-0405-15)

I was a bit nervous about spending this much on a transmission sphere, but the wavefront quality is exactly as promised—my interferometer readings are cleaner than with my old reference. The 6-inch aperture makes setup straightforward, and the fringe contrast is noticeably better for testing larger

The 1/20 wave PVr specification on this transmission sphere is spot-on; my test results were cleaner than with my previous optic. It screwed right onto my interferometer with no adapter needed, saving setup time. Exactly the precision I needed for this project.

My interferometer measurements confirmed the 1/20 wave PVr specification right out of the box. The mounting threads on the 6" F/7.2 sphere engaged smoothly, and the coating has held up well through a few weeks of daily use.
