NewView 5 Axis Motion Kit with encoded Z

The encoded Z-axis makes multi-layer scans so much more repeatable than my old manual setup. Setting up a full 5-axis sequence took less time than I expected.

Finally got my 5-axis stages dialed in for a small optics project, and the encoded Z axis is a huge relief for repeatable positioning. The motorized pitch and roll really cut down on manual fiddling, though I wish the cabling was a bit longer for my bench setup. Solid motion control for the price.

The encoded Z axis gives me precise, repeatable depth readings every time—no more guessing about focus position. Setup of the motorized XY and pitch/roll stages took an afternoon, but once calibrated, it holds position rock solid. Exactly what I needed for reliable multi-angle scans.
