The 1X fixed magnification makes alignment on our 10.6 μm setup way less fiddly than the zoom optics we dealt with before. Fringe contrast is clean across the whole 2 in. aperture, and we're getting repeatable surface figures on our CO2 optics. Took a bit to dial in the mount, but once it's set, it
